Dr. Susan Graham serves as the Director of the Owerko Centre for Neurodevelopment and Child Mental Health at the Alberta Children's Hospital Research Institute and the Scientific Director of the Azrieli Accelerator.  She is also a Professor of Psychology at the University of Calgary and the founder of the Language and Cognitive Development Lab. Dr. Graham's research centers on child development during infancy and the preschool years, with a specific focus on understanding the interplay between early language, cognitive, and social-cognitive development. Her research is financially supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (Insight Grants and Insights Development Grants), and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
